Although Brazilian hair straightening is benefitting popularity numerous prefer to stay away from it due to the presence of formaldehyde in the product. It is a fact that formaldehyde is destructive for the humane body. Knowing this fact, I’m sure no stylist or brands will market such unsafe products. Due to internet, selective information is freely available to every one accordingly there is not one thing to hide with regards to the masters and cons of any buyer product. This is applicable to even the Brazilian hair straightening technique.
Keeping the interests of buyers in mind some reputed cosmetic brands have come out with formaldehyde free keratin hair treatments. This hair treatment utterly does not integrate formaldehyde and results in soft, silky hair. It is a myth that Formaldehyde levels must never reach more outstanding than .02% in any product. Actually Products that are used directly on the skin ought to have lower levels of Formaldehyde because of the absorption factor. Our skin absorbs creams and make-up including the toxins in them. Higher concentrations of Formaldehyde would be dangerous in makeup and sure skin creams. But for Hair Treatments, the product is applied such that it does not touch the scalp and likewise it does not stay for extended amount of time of time on the hair. It is always employed to the hair and sealed with the flat iron. Even formaldehyde content up to 2% is considered as safe. Of course, prolonged and consistent exposure to formaldehyde might cause a good deal of side-effects.
Most of the salons which offer Keratin Hair treatment take the necessary precautionary measures. It will be better if the clients are likewise conscious of the dos and don’ts before getting the treatment. Keratin hair treatment is not advisable for Pregnant and nursing women. It is necessary to wear mask for the duration of the treatment and also the place where the treatment is done must be well ventilated.
Many fear that the steam that rises for the duration of the blow arid and flat ironing phase in the keratin hair treatment is harmful. This is again not wholly true. The sediment that may be contained in this airborne steam might be disturbing for a heap of since formaldehyde is classified as a carcinogen. But this may be effortlessly warded off by wearing a mask for the duration of the Flat iron routine and carry out this procedure in a ventilated area. Even a handy fan may be given to the client to keep the fume away. Compared to other straightening methods in Brazilian hair straightening there is no strong smell emanated for the duration of the routine since there are no chemicals involved. You may hardly feel that you are undergoing a hair treatment when this product is applied to your hair.
As a buyer you have all the rights to exploration before resolving on any treatment. But blindly do not believe whatsoever you read. Keep a heap of crucial pointers in mind like always go for salons and brands which have a great deal of years of experience behind them and good client feedback. Consult your hair stylist and clear all your apprehensions before taking the plunge because it is not easy to restore what is once damaged.

No soduim shampoo Rusk deepshine smooth
I ordered Rusk Keratin Care Smoothing shampoo. It was listed as a sodium free shampoo, safe to use if you have chemically treated (Brazilian blowout, etc.) Unfortunately, if you read the label of ingredients the second ingredient is sodium laureth sulfate. This is not a sodium free shampoo which you need to use if you have had a keratin or Brazilian blowout. Your treatment will not last long as the harsh detergent in sodium based ingredients removes the keratin treatment from your hair. Read shampoo and conditioner labels carefully if you have had keratin or Brazilian blowout. Do not use any product with any sodium based ingredients on your hair if you want the treatment to last as long as possible.

Great Hair Product
Smooths hair, makes blow drying easier and decreases the amount of time and heat applied for flat ironing. My hair is slightly wavy and is almost down to my waist. My hair is well cared for as is, but this line of Rusk product helps maintain manageability. Strongly recommend using the complementary shampoo for the best results.

NOT LAUREL SULFATE FREE
I purchased this with the hope of being able to use it on my hair that was recently treated with a Brazilian Blowout
Treatment. Unfortunately, the second ingredient is laurel sulfate & I cannot use it.
I don’t understand why it’s listed as sulfate-free when it obviously isn’t.
