I’m buying up as much as I can afford before there is none left. It’s been my favorite inexpensive hair styling product so far – and – then they discontinue it. It’s not too shiny, not too sticky, and a perfect “hold” for my hair.

I’ve tried their new comparible items and it’s just not the same!

Woody, Spicy & Pleasant

Like most modern colognes, Terre D’Hermes opens with strong citrus top notes, but these notes are accompanied with a smoked wood aroma. It’s like peeling oranges or lemons while standing around a bonfire. After about 30 minutes, it dries down to a very pleasant earthy, woody aroma, with a hint of patchouli, and there is little trace of the smoky, citrus opening. The fragrance lasts all day but is never too overpowering. Even when I no longer smell it on myself, I get compliments from others near by. It has definitely become one of my favorite colognes, if not my favorite.

There are so many good reviews I will not waste time in describing the same notes as others have already done many times over… That said, let me just bottom line it for those who are vacillating as to whether they should plunk down the dough for this fragrance… The answer is a resounding YES! I must have about 50 colognes in my collection and have tried three or four times that many more, and this is tied with a couple others at the absolute top of my list. It lasts, it is versatile, smells incredible and it doesn’t offend. Just get it and enjoy.

Purchased for my wife the vegan. She loves this product and uses for shakes or sprinkles on her hot cereal in the morning. She has me order more as soon as she starts getting low. On the flip side if you are a “meat & taters” person like myself it is an acquired taste as I don’t like it much. In a nutshell….

Amazing Quick Healthy Breakfast, and Vegan!

Original Mix (I prefer this one because there is no added sugars)

Taste:
In a green smoothie: Changes the texture of the smoothie just a bit, nothing too noticeable or annoying. Also adds a different flavor to the overall smoothie that helps enhance the taste when combined with the right greens and fruits.

With Almond milk: I am not used to eating sugars and processed foods, so this actually tastes pretty great to me. I saw some earlier reviews complaining about taste and I honestly have no problem slowly sipping on this shake as I drive to work in the morning. I have tasted some horrid protein shakes in the past and this one is delicious!

Overall Feeling:

I feel fantastic after having Amazing Meal in the morning. Completely clear minded and energized for the day. Even without the accompaniment of a multivitamin, this meal powder stands alone in providing a days worth of energy and clear minded thinking.

Cons:

I found that I needed to get used to the added probiotic that is apart of the meal. I found myself for the first four or five days, starving only 2 hours after drinking one of these shakes. It was like I couldn’t get enough food, I had to eat every two to three hours to stop the hunger. I am unsure whether it has to do with the combo of probiotic or the digestive enzyme that is added. Like I said though, after 5 days that feeling of starving all the time went away. It now fulfills me completely.

Overall:

This is the best meal shake I have come across thus far in my search for the perfect morning/ after workout shake. I have tried many from whole foods and other various health food stores. The fact that I have decided to actually buy another container of Amazing Meal must mean I really like it! I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks and, this wasn’t my initial intention, but have lost 5 pounds. A nice little added bonus

Highly reccomened if you are looking for a great protein/vitamin/healthy living shake. Oh and did I mention it is Alkaline based? Perfect!

Great energizer!!

I bought 5 individual packages of different types of protein drinks to see which I liked before I committed with a whole container. This was excellent – I mixed it with orange juice and proceeded to play 1 1/2 hours of tennis – singles and not once did I feel hungry. I used a small hand-held frother to make sure it mixed completely so I wouldn’t taste any of the unmixed granules. I’ve since ordered the “whole container”…

Winter itch!!!

It’s winter.
It’s itchy.
I’ve been using Vaseling Aloe with Cucumber and I loved that but I finally ran out so I decided to try this variety.
And….I’m just as pleased.
It goes on smooth and drys quickly without leaving your skin feeling greasy or nasty.
It does have a rather strong perfume scent which people may or may not like.
I rather like it.
Great for winter dryness if used daily.
Highly recommended.

Good replacement for high-end after shave lotions (balms)

I’m sold on this stuff. My motivation for writing this comment is from being frustrated with having to spend ~$6 for a small bottle for after shave balms (Nivea, Loreal, Gillette) because like Vaseline’s fast absorbing lotion they would not leave my face greasy looking or feeling. Since discovering this product I’m pleased that I am no longer supporting these overpriced products and their marketing. I guess they discovered that if you use the words “balm” instead of “lotion” and put it in a small bottle like some kind of secrete potion they can get more for it. I also never used a hand lotion on a regular basis for the same greasy reason until now. The scent is very light, it does not bother me and my wife likes. It’s also light enough you can use your own cologne.

fake cologne

I do not believe that this is the original product. I have attempted to contact amazon.com but I have not had a response yet. The product was sent to me in what looked like the original product, but on closer examine the plastic wrap had been cut and the scent is more like an alcohol mixture that anything.
I have since purchased the originall product at the brand name store to compare the two products. THERE IS A DEFINITE difference in the scents. They smell nothing similar.
It has been over two weeks since I requested amazon to respond…They have not responded. This product review is the only response I have received.
I would not recommend anyone purchase from this vendor. I am also not pleased that I have not had any response for amazon.

Perfumes came in OPEN boxes

I ordered 3 perfumes, which were shipped very quickly. But all of them came in open boxes! I doubt the authenticity of this product, besides I wanted to give them as presents, and this is a very bad tone to give an open perfume as a present, so I now will have to buy the original scents which makes my expenses higher.

Th shipping charges were announced to be 5 dollars but I was charged 15!

There is no refund policy in the description, however when I contacted the seller, he said that I will have to handle shipping (another expense!) and I will be charged 15% as processing fees!

DO NOT BUY

FIERCE cologne is only sold at Abercrombie so the only way you get a deal on it is if someone steals some like a tester bottle or your buying a knock off. The fake smells similar to the real one but unless you religously wear fierce you wont be able to really tell. Fierce should last on your clothes until even the next day and unless your paying over $75 don’t buy it. Save yourself a major headache both with the scent and from opening your wallet.

Winner for African American Natural Hair

I am an African American woman with very tightly coiled dry hair. I had my last relaxer over a year ago and have been working with natural hair for the first time in about 20 years. I have tried a LOT of products. Going Natural is very popular right now in oru community and it is not easy finding products that can make our hair manageable and truly soft especially the hair texture that I have. I highly recommend all of the shampoos and conditioners. They are remarkable and for the FIRST time I am getting what I expect from a product. The fact that the products are also safe for my hair and my health is reason to celebrate. You must try this product. My favorite is Honeysuckle Rose but I also have and love GP Protein, Island Naturals and one other that escapes me at the moment. They are all fantastic and worth the price. Try these products your hair will feel heathier and have a better texture than you could have imagined. You will also be doing a great thing for your health. So many cosmetic products are toxic nowadays. Companies do not have to disclose what they are really using. I checked Aubrey Organics on the EWG website that studies the toxicity of cosmetics and they got very good scores. This is an all around win, win product. I just wish they would make a larger bottle. Additonally Honeysuckle Rose has a great fragrance. Some of the the others dont smell as good as this one but they work just as well.

Excellent shampoo!!

This is an excellent shampoo that has a lovely, soft scent. If you want a shampoo that really is natural (unlike most shampoos from so-called natural companies), try any Aubrey Organics shampoo. I like this one in particular for it’s scent. My hair is always soft, shiny, & silky after using Aubrey products. This has a matching conditioner that works really well, too.

The product does not sud because it does not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. This is a filler and adds nothing to the cleaning effect. A lot of shampoos contain it however because ppl like the thought of suds and equate it to clean hair but it does not. Aubrey is natural so gives you the cleanliness without the use of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. I hope that answers why it doesn’t sud when you wash. For anyone that likes the look and feeling of suds Aubrey’s shampoo is probably not the product for you.

great but needs just the right hair moisture

I’ve used 2 containers and this stuff is great. I have very thick hair so I needed something strong but didn’t want the pine straw hard feel that so many other products left me with. As my title says though, you have to learn to get the wetness of your hair just right before applying this stuff as it CAN get too hard if your hair is too wet. If it’s too dry, it won’t hold like some guys want their hair. I’ve gotten to the point where after I shower, I’ll towel dry my hair then get dressed and THEN apply the product as letting the hair air dry just a bit more after towel drying seems to let a little more moisture out of the hair and really gets the “just right” matte look. I’ve tried several other products and this one is hands down the best for the money and is easy to find.

The best firm hold product for short hair!

I’ve used a LOT of different styling ‘product’ over the years. I have short, relatively thin hair that I like to spike a bit in the front. The problem I’ve had with most gels is that they do just fine for top of my head, but don’t keep the bangs spiked up the way I’d like. I’ve tried a lot of different things before stumbling on American Crew Fiber. It’s, in a word, perfect for my application! It’s easy to apply, isn’t too sticky, (although it is somewhat sticky which is necessary to make it work), looks great for the entire day, and washes out very easily at night.

A little of this goes a long way, so start with less than you think you’ll need and then use more if necessary. I apply this by putting some in my palms, and then rubbing them together, and then applying to my hair. I’ll use a bit more on the front if necessary.

American Crew makes a lot of other hair products too, but none of them work nearly as well as this one. I’ve tried the Pomade, and it’s greasy and not very reliable. Fiber, at least for me, is the only option.

Aside from being a tad sticky, this is a perfect hair product. Recommended!

(If you want a less sticky but equally less firm option, check this stuff out: Alterna – Enzymetherapy Hemp Seed Styling Mud 2 oz.. It’s pretty good, but just not quite firm enough for my taste).

Long Time User, Still Pleased

I have been using this product for about 2 years now. I think it’s great. It has a sweet-ish lemony smell but more sophisticated. It gets the hold without the shine which I want.

My hair is usually a fuzz ball when short and flat & lame when long. This product lets me give my hair some more character; I can rustle it up or calm it down whenever during the day. The great thing is that people don’t realize I’m using a product until they touch my hair.

Another cool thing about this product is that you can use it in our hair with varying wetnesses. If you’re hair is damp when you apply, it’s easier to apply but the hold will be a looser one throughout the day. I need a strong hold so i usually put it in when my hair is only very slightly damp. (Applying when your hair is completely dry is a little tough because it sticks to your hair and while you apply, its like you’re pulling on your hair and it can hurt)

On suggestion is to make sure its completely integrated into the hair. Especially when you use this product with damp hair, it takes some attention to make sure there aren’t little chunks of American Crew Fiber siting in your hair.

Good value, good smell

I was very pleased with this product! I’m a 21 year old college student and have gotten a lot of compliments from the girl friend, as well as other people. The only drawback is that I think the smell is just a little weak. I have to put on two or three sprays to really get a good amount. Other than that it’s all good….

Excellent Scent

Wow, Usher really stepped his game up with this cologne. I think this one is even better than P Diddy’s Unforgivable. Don’t get me wrong, P. Diddy’s is great but I find myself wearing Usher’s cologne more daily. A definite keeper for men’s cologne collection.
