There are no negative Zeaxanthin side effects but as we will see later on in this article there are a heap of positive reasons why we need to make sure that we introduce this anti oxidant, and it’s sister nutrient lutein in our each and everyday diets.
What Are The Main Benefits of Zeaxanthin?
The main gain is to prevent older people from suffering with an age affiliated disease ‘macular degeneration’. This happens when the layer of Zeaxanthin thins down from stress and harm to the macular from blue light rays of the sun. The problem is though, Zeaxanthin can not be naturally reproduced.
How Does Zeaxanthin Work?
As you introduce both compounds into your diet you will be thickening the layer of antioxidants in the macular and the retina. The thicker the layers are, the more shelter versus any free radicals and permanent harm from dangerous sunlight.
The antioxidant works as a barrier to any free radicals getting into the area and likewise works as a filter to support filter the good rays of light from those that are dangerous. The thinner the layer of this nutrient, the higher you are at danger of ending up with macular degeneration.
What is Macular Degeneration?
Macular Degeneration occurs in the macular through destructive or damaged cells due to oxidation. Once this occurs and you do not introduce such nutrients into your diet as Zeaxanthin, then it is possible that you will lose your central vision. This will stop you from doing a heap of things that you once did. For example you will not be capable to drive, read a book, write a letter etc. So because once we lose our anti oxidant layer, there is no renewing it ourselves. The only way to keep up that shelter is to introduce these nutrients into our diet.
Scientists have, and still are, researching Zeaxanthin side effects. In order to get the best and quickest boost it is best to take it in supplement form.
You will find some supplements on the market today, but before you go out and buy any do a little exploration for yourself.
1. Make sure that the amount of Zeaxanthin is listed in ‘mg’ and not ‘mcg’ as there is a big divergence amidst the quantity.
2. Make sure that you take a multi-vitamin supplement as oppose to just a Zeaxanthin one.

Very smooth and moisturizing!
I’ve been using Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion along with Moisture On-Call for years. This winter has been especially brisk, so my skin was still dry no matter how much product I put on.
This weekend, I saw the Olay at my local warehouse store (3.4fl oz/100ml size) and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the results! My skin now feels soft and moisturized. I will continue using this product because it is fragrance free (so is Clinique), but in additon: oil-free and has SPF-15.

Satisfaction beyond expectation
By James J. Janousek
I used this morning cream along with their night cream.
I’m a 65 yo male that has always had a ruddy complexion. I wore a cervical neck collar for about 6 years, plus losing about 100 pounds about 2 years ago. My neck was an over abundance of loose saggy skin.
I used both the day and night creams. I just wiped it on w/o paying much attention to how I did it.
RESULT after 1 month:
Nearly all that saggy neck skin tightened. It unbelievable.
I’ve received comments from three different people who commented, “you look great – what have you done to your face and neck!” THAT SAYS IT ALL>
I’ll definitely reorder these two products.

I had severe acne as a teenager and now that I’m in my 30′s I have an occasional breakout. I would always read in the beauty magazines that you should apply a moisturizer on your face but I was reluctant because of my acne-prone skin. I’m not sure why I decided to give Olay Total Effects a try but I am so glad I did. I have been using it every day for over a year now. It does not make my skin breakout at all (a big plus in my book). It makes my skin very smooth and gives me that “dewy” look. It also helps my foundation look more natural looking because the moisturizer is so hydrating. I also like the fact that it protects my skin from the sun.
I would definately recommend this product to anyone looking for a moisturizer. Despite it’s high price (compared to other brands) it’s definately worth it.
